if you give a dachshund a bed....

If you give a dachshund a bed,

he’s going to want a blanket to go with it.

Once he has his blanket,

he’ll snuggle down and decide he needs a pillow too.

When he gets his pillow,

he’ll wiggle and roll until he finds just the right spot.

All that wiggling will remind him of playtime,

so he’ll hop out of the bed and run zoomies around the room.

After zoomies, he’ll get thirsty,

so he’ll trot to his water bowl for a big, noisy drink.

That drink will make him sleepy again,

so he’ll head right back to the bed.

But when he sees the bed,

he’ll remember he needs his favorite toy tucked in beside him.

And once he has his toy,and his blanket,and his pillow…

He’ll curl up into a tiny ball,let out a happy sigh,and drift off to dream sweet dachshund dreams.

Of course, if you give a dachshund a nap,he’ll wake up…

and the adventures begin again!
