All of our puppies are welcomed with love and excitement. We specialize in every shade of cream, red, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and some of the prettiest dapple babies you’ll ever meet.

We offer a 100% two week health guarantee and a five year genetic health guarantee with each puppy, leaving you with the satisfaction of knowing you are adopting a healthy new family member. Age appropriate vaccines are kept up-to-date and each puppy is examined by our vet before leaving our home. Your new puppy arrives at their new home with their favorite blanket and chew toy (with the mama and siblings scent,) a PuppyLove leash, health and registration info, a package of puppy food, He/She is pre-spoiled and loved, all ready to start his/her life with their new family.

We enroll each puppy with the AKC Puppy Protection Package before they leave our home. This package includes AKC registration in the new owners name, a micro-chip and enrollment with the AKC Reunite, pet insurance, and vet care. (Check out the entire package at akc.org.) Shipping is available via our flight nanny. If you would like more information on cost and availability please contact us.

We offer weekly visits, pictures, and videos after you’ve placed a deposit so you can watch your puppy grow. Our puppies cannot leave our home until the day they turn eight weeks old. Unfortunately even if we wanted to, we couldn't send them home any sooner than that it's the law.

Your Puppy Questions Answered

Your puppy is eating Farmina N&D Tropical Selection Puppy Mini – Lamb, Spelt, Oats, and Tropical Fruits here at PuppyLove Dachshunds. We will send a starter supply along with your puppy so you can continue the same diet at home. If you decide to change foods later, just remember to do it slowly by mixing the new food with Farmina over several days to help your puppy adjust.

Puppies here at PuppyLove have food available to them at all times, since they’re growing quickly and need those extra calories. Once your puppy has settled into their new home, you can begin introducing a feeding schedule. We enforce postive behavior with lots of treats! (Our dauchshunds love "purina moist and meaty training treats") Dauchshunds love making their "People" happy and they will do anything for another treat :) Your new puppy has access to a doggie door, which he/she will start using at five weeks old. This gives them a great start to potty training at their new home. We also introduce the puppies to a harness and leash for basic training. We highly reccomend crate training. Every puppy needs a "safe place" to hang out in when he/she is feeling overwhelmed by their new surrondings.
