Born on August 26, 2026, Louie is spending these early weeks growing up with us at Puppy Love Dachshunds, surrounded by his mom, littermates, and plenty of attentive care.
He's still at an age where so much is changing from week to week, and one of our favorite parts of raising puppies is getting to watch those tiny personalities gradually come to life.
Growing, Learning & Finding His Personality
Louie's first weeks are all about the simple things: eating, sleeping, snuggling with his littermates, and growing stronger every day.
As he gets older, his little world will start becoming much bigger. He'll begin spending more time playing, exploring his surroundings, interacting with people, and discovering all sorts of new things.
This is also when we'll start seeing more of Louie's individual personality emerge. Every puppy develops a little differently, and we love giving them time to show us who they are rather than trying to label their personalities too early.
For now, we're simply enjoying this sweet stage and watching Louie grow.
